So my curriculum for school told me to write this information down on a chart but its not letting my write on that chart so i figured i would put it on my blog for all the people who read it to see.Lucky you!haha.
The link, which i added to the bottom of this blog is a link to Monster.com and an aritcle about Rejuvinating your Resumes to make them more appealing and stand out more to employers. It gives you 5 points which consist of Removing dates from your education, focusing on recent and relevant experiances, focus on new technologies, get online and get connected, and finally give your resume a personal voice.
Things that i will take with me from reading this article are not to be afriad of using the word "I" you are trying to talk yourself up so that way you seem better for the job you are trying to get so dont be afraid to say I and put in things that apply to the job but also make you look better. Another thing I will take with me from this artical is to focus on accomplishments that have something to do with the skills i will need in the job im applying for. I have a right to be proud of things ive done in the past but by making sure the things i put in relate to the job at hand i have a better chance of getting the job and making myself look good.
I found that this article has a lot of good information and can be very helpful, feel free to read it and comment on here and tell me what you think!
